HI-GEAR 28 Litre 12V 240V Cooler

I borrowed this off partners father for some days out to keep drinks and food cold we had it running for a good few hours empty an food was already cold sausage bacon ect drinks were warm but we added some ice blocks aswell and everything was kept cold for a full weekend even while turned off for a good few hours came back an ice was still ice couldn't recommend enough safe to say am now buying the father in law a new one an keeping his

I often find that when i stay in hotels, for walking holidays, I need more milk or extra food storage etc. This seems to fit the bill. I'll see how it goes

Very happy with my Hi Gear 40l cooler box. Plenty of room, I do like the pop up handle and wheels as it saves having to carry a cooler full of food and drinks. The fan is a bit noisy in my tent late at night so I did turn it off at night.
Before the camping season starts again I am going to see if the fan can be replaced with a quiet/silent computer case fan (please don't attempt to take it apart unless you are component and trained to do so as it may cause electric shock or fire).

Excellent product and sale price. Used for the first time in Anglesey camping and a fantastic product. It kept our ice cubes in a bag iced for 3/4 days and the food lovely and freshly chilled.
10/10. Simply perfect.

It was bigger and heavier than I anticipated but that was down to me, the cooler itself worked really well over a 3 day camp while plugged in. I prepped it with frozen plastic bottles of water, and chilled the food first. It kept everything fresh and cool. The main niggle was storing the cable and plug when not in use, quite fiddly feeding the cable into a cavity although it did eventually fit and the plug grip worked well. It feels robust. A tad noisy, so I turned the motor off over night which makes it's insulation efficiency quite impressive. Don't put anything on the top. Happy with it.

Been looking for an electric cooler for our camper that we can run off of 12V or 240 - most we had seen that had the dual power options were far to big for the two of us but this one is perfect size and an amazing price at under 50 pounds - yes fan is a bit loud but you can run it in eco mode at night so you can't hear it

Perfectly good, reliable cooler. Maintains temperature for long periods (even after turning off the power)- especially when bottles are cooled/frozen before placing.

The fan is a little noisy but what fan isn't and nowhere near enough to deter from purchasing.

Would recommend.

This is really an amazing bit of kit for a road trip. We used it when we drove to Austria

Good quality cooler happy with the product but delivery was super disappointing.
Dont bother paying for next day delivery as gonna take 3 extra working days on top to get it delivered .
DHL updates not helping as well ....

Perfect size for us and cold enough to keep things fresh. It is pretty noisy unless you turn it right down otherwise you might want to consider keeping it in the car rather than the tent so you can sleep at night. Delivery was delayed but they refunded the delivery charge without being asked. Great service

Needed a cool box for my camping trip to Scotland really pleased with my purchase quick delivery 5* from me.

Used for a weekend camping trip on mains power, kept food as cold as my home fridge!
Outside temperature was about 18 degrees.
Fan is fairly load but for the price I'm extremely happy with this product.

I haven’t used it properly yet but I left it on for a few hours and it kept half a dozen cans of pop nice and cool
