Peter Storm Men’s Lindale Waterproof Walking Shoe

This is my second pair of Peter Storm Lindale shoes. I find this shoe very good for comfort, waterproofing, grip and materials but the stitching for the toe leather is a weakness where it meets the sole on the outside of the shoe, causing the seam to open up well before the rest of the shoe is worn out. This happened with my last pair, on my brothers pair and I have seen the issue mentioned in several reviews on this shoe. Having said that, I like the shoe so much I have bought another pair despite this weakness.

They are as described. A wider 'fit' option would have been good, but so far fairly comfortable. No doubt more wearing will better mould them to my feet!

Had a pair of for long time, OLD SHOES STILL LOOK SMART, The soles are worn, but we I have worn them most days 3mile dog walk twice a day, and most duties (not weddings and funerals). LIKE THE LOOK FO THEM , BUY THEM! Not only have the shoes severed me well so have ULTIMATE OUTDOORS.

Very happy with the service from Ultimate Outdoors and with the shoes.
However I can only give 4 stars because although I paid extra for next day delivery it took 4 days for the shoes to get to me so the company is definitely being let down by using DHL.

I buy a pair of these every two years or so. Given that I wear them for walking pretty much every day, I'd say that's really good value in terms of them staying waterproof the whole time. This includes on wet grass. They are also very comfortable and practical- highly recommended!

Have just walked the Great Glen way and this shoes are extremely comfortable hope they will be just as comfortable on The West Highland way .The leather stitching round the toe end is prone to come away from the leather do not if this is due to the age of the shoe or lack of enough leather polish But as the shoes came at a good price will give them a 2nd chance

These Peter Storm walking shoes bridge the gap being good looking (smart) and durably strong. They are comfortable to wear, slightly wide in the toe area but provide good support overall. With leather uppers they are less utilitarian than standard walking shoes. Recommended

Only had shoes 1 week so not had chance to test in mud and rain. But very comfy to wear straight out the box. Not bad looking although quite a big and chunky design, so not going to win a stylistic contest.

One of the best walking shoes I have ever owned. Robust, waterproof and fairly quick to dry off. Recommended

I liked these first time I got them. Functional not flash ! very comfortable. The price was excellent so no rip off here. After 3 years the heels got worn through like all modern trainer type footwear but uppers still excellent. so I hope my second pair as good as first

As my feet are full of lumps and bumps of old age finding a pair of boots is hard but this one is comfortable to wear.

Worn every day, these are my 4th pair. Hard wearing, comfortable and waterproof. Very good value for money.

Great shoe, bought to replace an older pair.

I have had two pairs of these shoes. The first pair were tough, waterproof and good for medium distance walking. I wore out the sole so went for another pair but unfortunately the stitching on the outside edge of the shoe seam with the toe box has given way. They remained water proof but started to unravel. Had it not been for this it would be a 4 star rating.

Bought these in 2019 and used frequently as a shoe and for walking every week. These are comfortable and good looking but the stitching around the toe area went after about 9-10 months on both boots so this is a failure point.
Once stitching went boot always let in water so quite useless
