Meindl Men's Kansas GORE-TEX® Walking Boot

This is the second pair of these boots. The first pair lasted 15 years,of fairly heavy wearing in all conditions.
They are super comfortable. Meindl products are not cheap but they are very well made and last well.

Great boots very comfortable wear for work.Only negative is they don’t last as long as 2 years ago.

For years I have only bought Meindl, they fit me perfectly and I know whatever I buy will always fit. Build quality is excellent.

Given 4 stars purely because it's early days yet. However quality leather and other materials. Great ankle support and importantly great grip, for our walks in the Welsh countryside with the dog. Would like to review again in 12 months. These were recommended to us by ex soldier whose still mountain hiking. He loves them.

I have long used Meindl boots and think they’re great. I opted for an upgrade to leather this time and whilst delivery of boot was spot on, and the boot itself looks and feels great, they arrive needing multiple layers of proofing before use! Now, such is how good my last pair were, it’s been a few years, so maybe I’m out of touch, but previously when I’ve bought a pair of boots they come ready to use! At the very least there should be a notice that boots can’t be used with an offer on the proofing product best required! Took over a week till I could actually wear them. Great boot though.

Great comfortable boots, 3 rd pair I’ve had sole wear down quickly.

I chose half a size larger than my shoe size and went for the wide fitting boot. The boot size seems small. They were tight in width and length.

I sent for two pairs of Meindl Kansas boots, size 11 (far too tight) and a size 12 (a tad too large even with thick socks) so unfortunately I’ve returned both pairs. Return policy was straight forward but can take up to 14 days to process.
I would have ordered 11 1-2 size but they don’t stock them.

This is now my fourth pair of Meindl boots, and the second for Kansas style. I am always reluctant to change as well-worn boots form an emotional attachment, but there comes a time (usually when you you feel cold/wet feet) that you know it's time... they have to go and you've had your money's worth. I've also learned the "buy cheap, buy twice" lesson with boots, so chose these again, and so far have nothing but praise. Should've done it sooner, and the affectionate bond is already forming only a few days into the breaking-in cycle.

This is my second pair of Meindl walking boots; the quality of leather and construction is excellent and once again they were comfortable from the first walk. This pair should be even more waterproof with Goretex, not that my older Meindl boots leaked to any extent.

Meindl are the Rolls Royce of boots always have been and still are. Genuinely waterproof,

Arrived before stated which was brilliant. This is about the 6th pair of these boots we've bought. My husband has a fused ankle so these boots provide extra ankle support. He wears them for dog walking, gardening etc. He probably has a new pair every 16 months. He does look after them like babies

I’m really pleased with my purchase. The boot looks sturdy and the initial wearing of them they feel comfortable.

Bought this boots for walking the dog. A good sturdy boot and holds up to the weather. Will be a cracking little boot when I have broken them in properly. My only criticism would be they could do with an insole that provides a bit more cushioning but other than that an all round nice boot.
