I bought 2 pairs of these early last year. I didn't wear them for 6 months and have only worn them intermittently as I rotate them with other socks I have.
Both pairs have show signs of wear around the achilles area exposing the "Grid" the sock is built on. My other socks do not show the same wear. Very disappointing
