The Vango Banshee 300 is a highly recommended 3-man tent for outdoor activities such as trekking and wild camping in remote areas. It is known for its excellent space to weight ratio, making it a popular choice among outdoor enthusiasts. The tent's design features a side entry tunnel, which provides easy access and enhances usability.
One of the standout features of the Vango Banshee 300 is its TBS II Tension Band System. This system utilizes strategically placed tension bands to reinforce the tent's structure, ensuring stability and performance even in adverse weather conditions, particularly strong and changeable winds. This feature is particularly valuable for those embarking on expeditions in unpredictable environments.
In addition to its functionality, the Vango Banshee 300 is highly regarded for its lightweight and compact design. Weighing just 2.8kg, it is easy to carry during long treks or backpacking trips. Furthermore, the tent can be pitched quickly and easily, taking approximately 7 minutes to set up.

This is a great tent for two people but would be a bit cosy for three. It's easy to put up and I love the side doors as it makes it much easier to reach my bag from the "porch" area while in bed.
I'm 5'10" and can sit up straight with my head just off the top. However, with an airbed as well I have to hunch over slightly. It's very spacious for one person though, allowing for bed, kit and a sitting space.
When packed, it's small and light enough to carry in one finger and comes with an oversized bag, making it really easy to repack.
Overall an excellent tent.
One of Britains (almost) bombproof tents - when you get the pitch and guying right. Read the instructions and practice at least once. It will, however, keep you protected even when you mess up!
Great for one - as long as you're not carrying too far! (I use mine as a base/valley tent.) Great for two trekking - two doors and two vestibules, cosy for 3 trekking - but weight-saving!
Look at the dimensions - if you need enormous pads then look elsewhere! For several nights, with airmats and friends, it is nearly perfect.
For those thinking outside the box... flysheet only! (5 guys doing LeJoG!)
