I was sceptical of the Hydro Flask claim to keep cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours and nervous of the high price but having used it a lot recently I am converted. It is a bit heavier than my old plastic litre bottle but once full of water almost impossible to tell the difference and the taste is so much better and it really does keep stuff really cold for absolutely ages even if I leave it in the car on a sunny day when I’m out climbing or on my bike. I just put in a few ice cubes. It goes with us on family picnics now full of all sort of different drinks and always tastes good and is either cold or hot depending on what we put in it. No yesterday’s squash or tea taste. Easy to clean and looks good too. Does the job of my old drink bottle and bulky thermos flask. I want the straw lid so I can use it in the gym and on my desk at work.
