this is my second pair of the supalite boots now made by Berghaus, these boots fit to size (I am size 9 and the boots are size 9 unlike some of their other boots which need to go up a size) these boots are light in weight, a good quality leather and vibram sole, I can wear them all day as they are very comfortable, my last pair (still using) I have had a year still have a little rubber left on the sole and the leather is still good, mainly used on flat ground in Norfolk for dog walking (beach & country) would I recomend them, yes one of the best every day walking boots I have had in my 67yrs.
Previously owned the Brasher version, also 2pairs of gtx hillmaster. The boots couldn't cope with gentle trails on daily dog walking.
Lasted a year before leather uppers splitting, had been letting in water after months. This despite always cleaned, waxed and dried properly. Not a patch on the gtx hillmaster. Just threw these boots out tonight, wouldn't buy again or recommend, cheap for a reason.
This could be the 6th pair of these I've had, they are so comfortable from the start you don't know u have them on. Amazing
I have bought over Six pairs of Berghaus Superlite boots previously and always been very happy with the fit. This last pair has a significantly narrower sole - 8mm narrower than previously. I kept them thinking they would settle in but they are unusable for me.
This is the second pair of these boots I have bought. They are waterproof and very comfortable.
Really pleased
This is the third pair of Supalites I've owned, although it's the first pair under the Berghaus label (the others were Brasher boots). I had a full refund from Brasher for the first pair when the soles became detached - apparently a common fault with the original Supalites. The soles on the second pair lasted for less than a year of mixed trail and road use. The Vibram soles of this Berghaus pair are still firmly attached to these wonderfully comfortable boots – BUT they have lost all their tread in the centre and heel after no more than six months of use. It really is such a shame!
I’ve tried many boots, including the new barefoot expensive types. These still win for comfort, durability, comfort again, being able to regulate a nice foot temp in hot and cold days. They’re great for walking and great support, light weight, not too clumpy, not too light. I wear mine for work most days and the only thing too fail is the slight peeling of the rubber toe cap on the front of the boot which can be trimmed when needed and doesn’t affect the boots awesomeness. I’m about to purchase my second pair. Tip: In minus temperatures I put good tin foil under the insole for super snugness.
This is my second pair of Supalites, the others were totally worn out after years of use. They are supremely comfortable from the word go. As light as a feather (well relatively) and almost slip proof with the exception of wet limestone !
I love 'em.
Excellent boots very comfortable and light to wear, very well manufactured
These boots are well made and ooze quality. I purchased them at a price which I considered excellent value for money as it was clear the workmanship in the boot was worth every penny.
This is my second pair of these boots. They are great , very comfortable and you don’t need to break them in. They are that good my wife has got a pair aswell.
