Second pair, I wore the first ones out. Supremely comfortable. Longest hike was 19 miles over various terrain. The design of the boot with the padded achillies protection works great.
As the boits are gortex lined they are great fir the wet, but remember, they are made of a fabric mix, so there is a need to clean and re-proof the boots with a waterproofing spray.
