These waterproof and durable Quest 4 4D Hiking Boots combine durable hiking qualities with Salomon's most advanced trail running technology for a much lighter construction.
Featuring a waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX® performance membrane to keep your feet dry wgilst allowing air to escape, keeping them feeling fresh at all times.
This technical hiking boot incorporates two varied midsole components, the SensiFit™ Midsole offers premium cushioning and support to the foot whilst the Ortholite® sockliner blends specific Ortholite foam with an EVA heel cup to enhance support around the heel.
A Contragrip® outsole gives you reliable traction on difficult terrain.

Excellent pair of outdoor boots, worth the price

What a fantastic hiking shoes.
Really comfortable, fantastic grip and completely water proof. Been walking into rivers as as long they not deeper than the shoes no water is getting in. Absolutely fantastic. Really recommend

Comfiest boots i have ever bought
I bought these boots as a late replacement ( 3 weeks) for boots that i was going too wear for trekking too Everest base camp and im glad i did

Great pair of boots
Nice and light, grippy on wet rocks, and very comfortable. On my second pair now. Only down side is they don't last very long. compared with leather boots
Excellent walking boot
I bought these boots to replace my old worn out ones of the same kind.
I have wide feet and these are a comfortable fit. They are of good quality and are very lightweight. I have yet to try them in the rain.

Salomon Quest 4d goretex
Really happy with my second pair of these boots. This was an upgrade from an older model. Great fit as usual with Salomon. Light enough but tough enough to cope with anything you throw at them.

Buying footwear online is always a bit of a risk without try-before-you-buy to make sure they fit - no need to worry, these boots are a perfect UK 9 / EU 43.
Great quality boots that have already been road-tested through rock, mud and flowing water, passing with flying colours. My feet were really comfortable at the end of a long day wearing these boots.

Ugly but excellent
I originally avoided buying these boots as they're so ugly, instead buying a pair of Zamberlans, partly based on very high review scores. Alas, the Zams destroyed my heels, so after a year of stubbornly "breaking in" the Zams mile after mile, I finally relented and bought the Salomons. They were comfy straight out of the box, and do remarkably well at keeping out the water. Great boots. No complaints so far.

Very comfortable straight out of the box. Not sure how long they will last a build quality seems to be down on the previous version.

I’ve owned a pair of walking boots that have lasted me over 10 years and was looking for a good replacement. I had heard of Salomon before as alot of EMT outdoor organisations use them, as well as certain SF teams in the US, so thought they’ll be a good pair of boots. I wasn’t wrong. They are tough and can tell they’re made to last a long time. This model has been well thought out, with various loop holds and low friction eyelets, making putting and taking off the boot really easy. I would highly recommend them. Very happy with them so far.
