Map cases generally seem to be expensive for what you get. This one is probably waterproof (not tested) with a concealed 'press seal' closure at both ends. This is fiddly to completely snap shut and my map fell out on a walk a couple of times. A small zip would be better. There is a release catch on the harness which is great.
