Scarpa Mens Walking Boots

Great walking boots
I have a pair of these boots and this is the second pair for my husband. They are very comfortable and waterproof on long walks. The only weakness seems to be the stitching by the big toe joint. It is unravelling gradually on both of our pairs and will need restitching.
Scarpa - surprise
When Hunters were closing down, I bought 3 pairs of their boots, there was no competition for them yet they didn't manage to survive. Their boots, lasted approximately 11,000 miles of walking each pair. I was looking for something similar in design and quality, the Scarpa boots seam to be a good replacement, but time will tell. Definitly very comfy, and the way the sole is made, it keeps you pushing to walk more. Difficult to explain, but awesome boots.
Lightweight hiking boots
These boots are very well made. They are lightweight, just right for travelling. Looking forward to getting them dirty!

These are great walking boots but be carefull that the front rand doesn't come unstiched . Great waterproofness provided you treat them right .
Scapa Cyrus Mid boot
A comfortable city commuting shoe for winter/poor weather. VERY comfortable - if it fits your foot; excellent for lacing and getting your foot in/out. Goretex lining didn’t fail in the life of the boot: usually this fails early. However, I don’t think that the sole last that long: 2 years? The lining lasts as long as the rest of the boot, so you wouldn’t get it resolved, but for Scapa I’d hope it would last longer. But the sole has worn quickly. Quality otherwise can’t be denied.
Outdoors company have offered this at an excellent price: £125 cf rrp £175.
Poor water resistance
Comfortable but leaking after 6 months. Poor at this price.
Scarpa boot - great everyday boot
Bought about 2/3 years ago and ideal weekend walking footwear and smart casual for pubbing afterwards. Good enough that want to wear every day!
Like hiking in loafers
Seems like a well-made shoe but unfit for purpose. Upper shoe fits like a glove and is very comfortable material. When purchasing, I doubted my negative intuition on the hardness of the sole due to the obvious quality of the construction; I thought, "there must be a good reason why they are a harder sole".
Sadly, there isn't. They are not for walks longer than a few miles and certainly not with weight. Yesterday, i had 10 kilos on my back for 20 miles and it will take a while for my bruised heels to recover. Avoid.
I will relegate to casual wear wardrobe and buy again.
Very disappointed
Bought these 4 months ago, stopped wearing them about a month ago. Stitching has failed, leather has cracked dispite regular nixwaxing, tread on soles is worn flat, and the goretex is no longer waterproof. Steer clear of these.

I like these boots. They are comfortable, supportive and look great. Would recommend.
