I’ve tried many boots, including the new barefoot expensive types. These still win for comfort, durability, comfort again, being able to regulate a nice foot temp in hot and cold days. They’re great for walking and great support, light weight, not too clumpy, not too light. I wear mine for work most days and the only thing too fail is the slight peeling of the rubber toe cap on the front of the boot which can be trimmed when needed and doesn’t affect the boots awesomeness. I’m about to purchase my second pair. Tip: In minus temperatures I put good tin foil under the insole for super snugness.
This is my second pair of Supalites, the others were totally worn out after years of use. They are supremely comfortable from the word go. As light as a feather (well relatively) and almost slip proof with the exception of wet limestone !
I love 'em.
Excellent boots very comfortable and light to wear, very well manufactured
These boots are well made and ooze quality. I purchased them at a price which I considered excellent value for money as it was clear the workmanship in the boot was worth every penny.
This is the third pair of Supalites I've owned, although it's the first pair under the Berghaus label (the others were Brasher boots). I had a full refund from Brasher for the first pair when the soles became detached - apparently a common fault with the original Supalites. The soles on the second pair lasted for less than a year of mixed trail and road use. The Vibram soles of this Berghaus pair are still firmly attached to these wonderfully comfortable boots – BUT they have lost all their tread in the centre and heel after no more than six months of use. It really is such a shame!
