These walking shoes are waterproof, tough, comfortable and have excellent grip, however they have butt stitched side and front seams! I have had two pairs and after walking an average of 3 miles per day the seams at the side (an area of extreme cyclic stressing) have split at the stitching on both pairs after 8 months. Millets have been excellent in their response and have replaced the shoes instantly. Peter Storm must pay attention to this design fault and produce a revised model because apart from this, they are excellent is all other respects.
