Silva Trail Runner Free Head Torch

Customised for running, the signature design of the Trail Runner Free Headlamp from Silva perfectly balances the weight of the product between the front positioned lamp and rear positioned battery. These elements are fixed to a super comfortable headband which brilliantly integrates the power cords flush into the design to avoid snagging and remove bulk. The silicone strip within the headband creates rigidity and traction to ensure a secure fit. This slick looking headband has ergonomic buckles for easy adjustment and soft textile details.

Designed to keep the runner’s focus on the trail, not the gear, this innovative headlamp uses Intelligent Light, Silva’s customised light distribution technology. This system offers a long reach spotlight and a close-range floodlight for better control, higher speed and improved balance. The large on/off button can be used even with gloves to toggle between four light brightness levels – maximum, medium, minimum and a flashing safety light. Silva have also introduced a new feature called Maximum Mode Indication. When in minimum mode and toggling back to maximum, the headlamp will emit a short flash first to tell you that you are back in maximum mode; something which is super helpful when you’re tired or running in bad weather.

Powering the Silva Trail Runner Free Headlamp is easy, thanks to the flexible battery options. The hybrid battery case can be positioned on the rear of the strap or placed inside your pocket or rucksack; simply use the soft touch extension cord to connect them. The extension cord is ideal for use during cold conditions as keeping the battery pack warm will help ensure optimum performance. The battery case has an integrated safety light and works with either 3 x AAA batteries (included) or a rechargeable Silva battery (sold separately). Weighing just 119g and with a burn time of 70h, this fully water-resistant, innovative headlamp is the perfect running companion for anyone.
