Good balance of weight and durability
Pros: definitely feel more substantial than my previous Craghoppers. Tested in light rain and the water beads and runs off well. Thigh zipped pocket accommodates a standard smartphone. Protected from brush, brambles and branches whilst not being too warm in sunny weather.
Cons: The two side pockets are shallow - don't store anything you would mind losing in them. Washing at the recommended 30 degrees doesn't remove mud stains. Sizing isn't generous so beware shrinking if you wash at waremer temperature.

This was my third pair of these trousers. The material felt less forgiving and the fit is more snug than previous pairs. I guess that you can't expect too much when they are this cost!
