Scarpa Men’s Terra GORE-TEX®

I’ve just bought a new pair of boots after 20 years of walking in the previous Scarpa boots. I bought the same again as I honestly feel they are the best.

I received these boots (Size 11) at the end of March and in the subsequent 6 weeks have walked about 100 km in them in the Scottish countryside in wet and dry conditions. Initially they felt quite snug, but the leather has softened and now they are really comfortable boots. Scarpa boots have simple insoles and I replaced them with more supportive ones. I also own 10 year old Scarpa SLs (much heavier than the Terra's) and Scarpa Boreas GTX which are warmer (synthetic) and less waterproof than the Terra's. You can't beat leather.

Love these boots. So comfortable straight out of the box. Can't fault them.

This boots came right out the box from new, i did a 10 miles walk across Dartmoor with no problem at all so so comfortable. Went to the Lake District in April no problems the boots grip really well. Wednesday 15 May 2024 i did walk of 11 miles on difficult terrain out to Fur Tor Dartmoor national park. The ground was very challenging very wet underfoot boggy Tussocks and streams crossing. My feet remained totally dry and comfortable, i also like how light the boots our. Perfect weight for me after my revision right hip replacement. I would definitely buy them again

This is my second pair of these boots, having worn out the soles on my first pair after 12 years. They are comfortable from day one, waterproof and tough. They are genuine Scarpa at a very competitive price. Highly recommended.

These boots from my first purchase of them over 30 years ago have never let me down, are robust and feel like a pair of bedroom slippers!

Good quality boot. Gives great support and are good in wet conditions.

I live in the Lakes and boots generally take a good amount of ware and tear
Up to now these have superb, I had no slips, no water ingress ! They are easy to clean and so comfortable
Plus the price was fantastic ( my recommendation ) just buy them

This is my first pair of Scarpa boots and I’m very happy with them. They appear to be well made of high quality materials. I have had several wet walks in the including long wet grass, which seems the most pernicious of all, and so far they have been completely waterproof. I bought the 11.5 UK equivalent size. I wear a 10 in ordinary shoes but went up in size to allow for swollen feet/thicker socks/a narrow last. They suit me fine and were comfortable straight out of the box I haven’t tested their grip properties yet, or how long they will stand the test of time, but at the moment I highlyrecommend

Bought many pairs of hiking boots over the years, these are the most comfortable and waterproof boots yet.

Good boots, soft leather good fit.

These walking boots are very comfortable and easy to lace up and also take off again. No need to wear in and the hard wearing sole copes with all terrain with ease. These were an upgrade from previous Scarpa walking boots and I look forward to many miles of walking pleasure.

Scarpa is a well respected brand for adventure footwear. These boots were comfortable straight out of the box and very reasonably priced. Given the flex in the leather, I’d say they work well for undulating trail walking but not the best for higher level mountain terrain where you encounter steep stony paths and rocks. For that you’ll want something sturdier and providing more support.

Never having had a pair of Scarpa boots before, am impressed in the comfort and durability. Did not need extra insoles when walking over gravel, the soles absorb any sharp edges and gave me a smooth step forward. Looking forward to longer walks due to their comfort. Not had chance to put them in a water test but am sure they will pass with flying colours. Highly recommend these boots.
